For this year’s conference, we decided to give the old “Got Mail Cafe” some serious upgrades. With generous support from sponsor Minnesota Life, we are proud to offer attendees the all-new Wi-Fi Lounge, a spacious area adjacent to the NASSP Bookstore with comfortable seating, easy access to charging, free Wi-Fi Internet access, and some cutting-edge, high-tech devices to explore.

Stop by the Wi-Fi Lounge to connect with other school leaders and learn about the technologies they are using in their schools. The Wi-Fi Lounge is an open environment where attendees can exchange ideas about technology and try their hand at different devices.

Don’t have a mobile device or a laptop that uses Wi-Fi? No worries. The Wi-Fi Lounge still offers free computer access for conference attendees looking to check their email or print out boarding passes. There is something for everybody in the Wi-Fi Lounge.

Please note, we’ll be hosting two special events in the Wi-Fi Lounge you don’t want to miss. On Friday, March 9 at 9:00 a.m., NASSP Digital Principal Award winners Michael King, Patrick Larkin, and Eric Sheninger will discuss the mobile technologies and strategies they are using in their schools. This is a great opportunity to meet and interact with some of the most engaged technology leaders in education today!

On Saturday, March 10 at 9:00 a.m., we’ll be hosting NASSP’s first-ever conference tweet-up! Stop by the Wi-Fi Lounge to meet your favorite conference tweeters face-to-face. If you are tweeting the conference, be sure to use the official conference hashtag #nassp2012. My handle is @PeteMasonDC, and you can DM me if you have any questions or concerns.
